MOONRISE MUSING 30: Lessons In Beauty And Love. This Venus Retrograde Season Is Clearing More Distortions

You may have noticed the recent shift in energies following last week's New Moon in Pisces - almost as if time has once again sped up. Part of this was down to Mars going direct last week Monday. For a few days, we had no retrograde activity until Venus stationed for Her retrograde season this past Saturday.
There is an ongoing tension in the collective energy - a feeling of things going back and forth in a sort of volleying action, and the retrograde activity is partly responsible for this.
Out of all the planets in retrograde, Venus tends to be one of my favourites to experience. She requires us to dig deep and commit ourselves more fervently to love as the bedrock for all we build upon.
This doesn't make Her retrograde season easy, but Venus will take us on a sojourn to remember why it is we are actually here. If we let Her, she will enlighten us on the way we hold onto people, places, behavours and things for ulterior motives which have nothing to do with love and the true enhancement of our lives.
She will spotlight where and how we deny ourselves what we deserve because of our own programming around lack. And if we allow for it, She will gently lead us back into what sparks our sacred desires and the true yearnings of our hearts - what connects us to our ability to create beauty and live beautifully.
A lot of people connect with the more frivolous aspects of Venus's wisdom, believing Her to be a planet that connects us to love, beauty, and pleasure for more hedonistic purposes. However, the wisdom of Venus comes from knowing that love, beauty, and pleasure are the fruits born from harmony and justice. They are emblematic of devine order in our individual and collective realities.
The more beauty we tune into, create, and experience, the better the world is. And beauty is not a superficial or surface level pursuit, but what actually connects us to the very mind and heart of God because our love of beauty comes directly from Source.
There is a Bible verse that speaks on how "God" makes all things beautiful in time. This wisdom is a gift of Venus, where we have the invitation to find the beauty and value in the most mundane and unassuming of places and activities...for as long as we apply the mind, heart and eyes of "God" on our quest to see all things as they actually are.
One of the marks of rising higher into our devinity and godhood is being able to find the beauty and value in all things. It is always there to behold, but it takes a certain heart, wisdom, and otherworldly value system to access.
This is what all good art helps us to do - to see beauty, truth, and power in that which we might have otherwise overlooked as being nothing special. Now, if we apply that ability to seek out the value, beauty, and devine nature in every person we meet or interact with....we learn lessons in higher expressions of devine love.
So - in essence - Venus is the planet that actually helps us to see past the supericial facades, masks, personas, and illusions to access the beauty in all things as Source intended…and sees them too.
And maybe this is what our world needs - the remembrance of just how beautiful everything and everybody actually is. Because real beauty has little to do with what we do, or how we present…and everything to do with who we are.
The more we choose to exist in our truth, the more beautiful we actually become. And the ones who are able to behold us in our truest expression of beauty - to hold a mirror up and help us to take pleasure in our true reflection...as they see and experience us - are the ones who see us with the mind, heart, and eyes of Source.
I do not believe there is any one creation that Source has made directly, or by extension, that lacks beauty. The farther we fall from living in accordance with our true devine natures and unique energy signatures, the more shallow our perception on beauty becomes, and how we choose to connect with it in our self-expression. The more we return home to self, the more our true devine beauty shines.
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which means that it is something that must be witnessed in order to be fully enjoyed and actualised. And we are here to do that for one another and the Earth. This is love. To find the God given beauty in another, and help them to magnify it so they live fuller in their devine expression, is a pure act of love.
So much of what we have allowed to pass for love is a mockery. Our own woundedness kept us from seeing ourselves clearly...let alone mirroring that back in truth to another or others. Without true self-acceptance, our ability to love others can become distorted too.
Venus helps us to clear those distortions....for as long as we allow for her to teach us true lessons on beauty. And when she falls into retrograde, her wisdom becomes more accessible...more pronounced.
So let Her teach you how to find love and pleasure again in all places, things, and people that you visit, occupy, and relate to. Let Her teach you how to let go of that which you are not a true love match for. Let Her teach you how to love yourself again so profoundly that you cannot help but love those who are your true frequential match fiercely too.
Let Her teach you how much beauty you are able to make and create in this world, and how this creative flow and love is what reharmonises and brings true justice back onto the Earth planes. Let Her teach you what you once knew instinctively, but were traumatised and programmed into forgetting.
Venus is in retrograde, and She is ready to teach us lessons on love, beauty, and justice. She is ready to show us how our Source codes and devine abilities stem from the pursuit of making all things beautiful in our own time. Will you let Her teach? Will you let Her rule in her season? Will you let Her help you to remember how to be beautifully devine?
